A car rental excess insurance (or collision damage excess waiver) is the ideal insurance when you rent a car on your vacation. Should an accident happen, your excess or deposit is safe. This offers you protection against the risk of a costly excess if the unexpected happens, and you can enjoy worry-free driving on new and unfamiliar roads.

Your rental company will usually secure the vehicle excess against your credit card and deduct this in the event of accidental damage or theft of the rental car. It is this excess that will be reimbursed by Allianz Global Assistance, in case of a claim.

Don’t let your holiday be ruined by costs you haven’t planned for.  Allianz Global Assistance is a world leader in travel insurance and assistance. Wherever you are in the world, we are here for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
